Dan will be remembered with a smile on my face.

I met Dan at UTSA while taking some evening business classes. One night when we went cruising in a way too cool Trans Am! We were rocking out on IH 410 with the windows down and the music way too loud. To this day I remember listening to Journey’s recently released “Don’t Stop Believin’”. Dan was initially lukewarm to the song, but as the music got louder, he got into the groove. He really enjoyed his music.

One afternoon, Dan and Jenna came over for a visit. I wanted to show them some new LaserDisks that I had purchased. At the time, these disks had the best picture and sound available on home media. I was showing them a disk with Stevie Nicks in concert and played a portion in slow/stop motion. The picture was crystal clear. I guess I went overboard with the demonstration because he frequently ribbed me and asked if I had seen Stevie recently. To this day, I always associate a Stevie Nicks video with Dan.

Dan will be remembered with a smile on my face.

Having worked with and around Dan for 15 years at Enterprise there are so many things I admire about him.
